L Bee started a fan page for the game in 2012. At first being a place of sharing her created skin template designs for ingame vehicles. As well as bringing friends and her own ingame avatars to life in 2D animation created in Corel R.A.V.E. 3.0. She created individual ‘DRIFT’ member posters and vote to win carshows that showcased members created avatars & vehicles. The ‘DRIFT’ crew had reached over 180 members. #cartowndrift

CarTown DRIFT took a life of its’ own with the motto ‘ARE YOU IN?’ Bringing the love of a game together with creativity in making original characters and vehicle designs. Other well known talented community designers such as CTC Customs and R711 had cameos in a series of animated short films in 2012.

After the game shutdown in 2014 she posted throughout the years and observed that ‘DRIFT’ members and fans were still following her fan page. In December 2025 she wrote the lyrics for ‘Car Town Fan Song‘ and posted a music video which gained a few thousand views. January 2026 L Bee decided that now technology has reached a level to allow her to make one last animated movie on a level she has always wanted it to be from day one. CarTown DRIFT music tracks can currently be found on Soundcloud , Spotify , iTunes, Pandora, iHeart and many more online platforms. There are plans on revising the original 2012 animated short films an official date has not been announced. Also looking into the possibility of making an actual game (TBA). #cartowndrift
